North Country Bed and Breakfast

North Country Bed and Breakfast is located at mile 2.7 on Petersville Road in Trapper Creek, Alaska. Situated on the shore of Scotty Lake, our setting is idyllic. The lake is quiet, surrounded by forest, and home to beavers, fish, bears, moose, and a host of Alaskan birdlife.

Alaska scenes

We have a spectacular view of Mt. McKinley and the Alaska Range, and our property has often been used by professional photographers and filmmakers who are looking for the perfect combination of Alaska’s natural beauty, warm, friendly hospitality, and comfortable, relaxing accommodations. Trapper Creek is a small, special place where “real Alaska” is experienced on a daily basis. It is perfectly situated about halfway between Anchorage and Denali National Park. We’re just a few miles from Talkeetna, the aviation gateway to Denali, with wonderful places to eat and shop. Stay with us and drive the few miles to this small, rural, Alaskan village. You can pick up the Alaska Railroad train there and continue your sightseeing from the comfort of their beautiful cars, or book a flight seeing tour including a glacier landing.

Planning Your Visit

If you are a runner, there are races of every length to enter throughout the summer. How about a summer solstice run? Or how about a round of midnight golf for the golf enthusiast?

Love music? There are bluegrass, jazz and other music festivals to enjoy while you are visiting. And don’t forget just relaxing around our fire pit and enjoying the beautiful surroundings!

DenaliDuring the winter months, we enjoy an interesting mix of guests from outside Alaska and local snowmachiners.
