North Country Bed and Breakfast is located at mile 2.7 on Petersville Road in Trapper Creek, Alaska. Situated on the shore of Scotty Lake, our setting is idyllic. The lake is quiet, surrounded by forest, and home to beavers, fish, bears, moose, and a host of Alaskan birdlife.

 All rooms have private entrances and private baths

    The Denali Suite has spectacular views of the lake and McKinley/Denali.

 Both the Bush Pilot room and Sourdough room have a queen bed and a twin bed

    Both the Howling Wolf room and Arctic room have a queen bed

 Our “Ready Room” is a common area for all guests to enjoy, with a pool table, restroom, microwave, tables and chairs and brochures and maps to assist you in your trip planning - as well as menus of area restaurants.

How you get here
   DRIVING: Petersville Road is at Mile 114.5 on the Parks Highway. Come west on W. Petersville Road for 2.7 miles - you'll see our sign on the right. We're right across the road from Trapper Creek Elementary School.

 FLYING: You can land your float plane on Scotty Lake and taxi to our dock. Scotty Lake is about 6 DME on the 265 radial of the Talkeetna VOR, TKA, 116.2.


 Denali Suite is $130.00/night, plus 5% borough tax

   All other rooms are $105.00/night, plus 5% borough tax

 Room rates are for standard occupancy. One additional adult may be accommodated per room, on a case-by-case basis, for an additional $15.00 cot fee.

   We have discounts for both active duty and retired military personnel, law enforcement, fire fighters, and first responders.

    Cancellation Policy: Deposit will be fully refunded if cancellation is made prior to ten days before reservation date, or fourteen days if the reservation is on a holiday/three-day weekend.
